By adding another Mix Shader to any of the slots, you can blend even

more Nodes in a material. The same applies to the Shader Editor, where

you can add more Mix Shader Nodes or duplicate an existing Node with

the SHIFT+D keys to compose more complex materials.

5.3 Using image textures

Using the Shaders alone won't produce realistic results for some

surfaces, where an image texture is the best choice. To add an image

texture to any material, use a Node called "Image Texture."

Info: From this point forward, we will use mainly the Shader Editor to

craft materials. But, you will get the same results with the Material tab.

To add the Node to the material, press the SHIFT+A key, or use the Add

menu in the Shader Editor. Go to the Texture group and choose Image
